As small business people we can all agree that starting a relationship with a Web designer or developer can be an expensive proposition in time and money. As the client you spend hours building a comprehensive RFP, researching potential agencies and submitting your project. On the other side of the table the proposed agency may spend days building proposals and speck work for contracts that may have been submitted out of curiosity. All of this work gets done before we know anything about each other, we have never even had a handshake.
There is an answer to this problem and it is called services.
Take for example your ailing transmission. When you are facing expensive auto repair you do research online, compile quotes over the phone and then sign a twenty four month exclusivity contract for auto repair? No, you pick the most reputable shop you can find and you hire them for a small service, like an oil change. Based on the customer service, cost and quality of work you determine whether or not you want to work with this business in the future. The service is the handshake.
Handshake for Web Design and Web Marketing
In an effort to lower the cost of creating new relationships with small business people like you I have taken the above lesson and created three handshake services for Web design and Web marketing: Web Redesign, Landing Page Optimization and SEO for Design.
Through these services you can gain insight into my process, customer service approach and quality of work without signing a contract or spending thousands of dollars and I get the opportunity to prove myself and still make a buck or two.
The Contest
To celebrate the completion of my recent redesign and the release of these handshake services I am giving away two Web Redesign Packages with a value of $499 each.
What You Will Win
The Radical Redesign package includes a usability review and redesign for one page of your choice. Deliverables include a screencast highlighting my findings and your one page redesign as a Photoshop (.psd) file.
