About Jake Schirm
Jake Schirm is a Web designer and father of four living in Portland, Oregon. Jake’s Web design career started in 1997 with an html book, a fresh install of Netscape Navigator Gold and Photoshop.
Over the years Jake has acquired a broad skillset which includes; user centered design, Web development, design for SEO, branding and Social Network Marketing.
In 2005 Jake left behind the beach and a successful run of in-house positions to found his own agency, Suimple. Bringing twelve years design and development experience to the agency, his ability to effectilby translate business goals to user and SEO friendly designs has earned Suimple a diverse list of clients.
Jake is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara (go Gauchos!). When not writing code he is surfing, climbing, reading and kid wrangling.
